I know what you’re thinking, oh great another article about generating traffic to my website. Well it is important for your website to have traffic. It makes absolutely no sense to have the most informative website in the world that no one knows about. This article lists ten low cost ways to generate traffic to your website. Enjoy.
1. Trade links with sites that have high ranking and content similar to yours.
While visitors are important, targeted visitors are really important. If your site is about dogs, it would be silly to trade links with a site that is for people who hate dogs. That would be counterproductive and just does not make sense. No, in order for your link trade to work, it should be with a site that covers the same topic that your website covers.
2. Publish a blog.
I really do not have time to go into all of the benefits of a blog in this article. Just understand that search engines love them and that other bloggers link to other bloggers frequently.
3. Publish your own newsletter.
Now I know what you’re thinking, publish a newsletter? That sounds like a lot of work. Well yes it is, but if you write your newsletter about something you’re interested in, it won’t really seem like work at all. Can’t write your way out of a paper bag? Don’t worry about that, there are lots of places online where you can get free content on a regular basis. Just go to your favorite search engine and type in article directory and you will be amazed at the number of results that come up.
4. Offer some free content relevant to your subject matter.
People love freebies. Make sure that your content is of good quality and related to your subject material. It would also be nice if you required the visitor to leave an email address before receiving the freebie, that way you can build your list that much quicker.
5. Swap ads with other ezine publishers.
Find ezines that match your topic and offer to swap ads with the publisher. Many publishers will agree to this type of arrangement for a short period of time, especially if it is something of value to their subscribers.
6. Participate in online forums
7. Publish your url on everything you distribute (books, business cards, brochures, etc.)
8. Study everything you can about generating traffic.
This is extremely important since the Internet changes minute by minute. Subscribe to ezines, read ebooks, read the forums. All of these sources will help you stay current on the latest Internet trends.
9. Ask successful Internet marketers as many questions as you can think of.
Many Internet marketers want to help you to succeed, especially if you are one of their affiliates. If they help you succeed, they succeed. Remember, the only dumb question is the unasked question.
10. When you see a good idea, use it.
This should almost go without saying, but if you see a great idea, that you can easily implement while doing your research then by all means use it. That is why you are doing all of this research in the first place, right?

Tweaking Your Existing Website For Greater Profits
I was recently asked what the newest process or product I was working on, as well as what the newest thing I've learned is. That's a great question! I've currently been looking at my existing website and addressing the existing business model to see if it's the most viable model for me. I'm currently split testing various pages of my site and looking at the strategies I'm using to see if those strategies and methods can be improved for greater profits.
One of the biggest parts of my business that was a huge money maker for me at the beginning for the longest time, which I kind of got away from was my membership continuity program. This has made me a lot of money. I've kind of taken it for granted and not looked at further ways to use it to make even more money. It's not good to become to content with your business. Always look for new ways to improve it.
Also, I started getting rid of having my sales team, which I still don't have in-house like I used to. The other thing is I got away from was doing all the teleseminars and seminars circuits. On these circuits I focused heavily on selling high-ticket items. That is really the only method I used to sell them - through seminars. So now, one thing I decided to do is focus specifically on these income streams that have and continue to make me an amazing income stream. I thought why don't I just go and re-establish these old income streams and just start making a hell of a lot more money! Right now I've decided to do a ton of teleseminars to sell bigger ticket items. Why? Well, because this method of making money has made me a lot of money so why re-invent the wheel? I've decided to do more of these events while also looking at improving my conversion rates using the teleseminar circuit strategy.
One of the biggest things I've been thinking about is how I can offer a big ticket item that would be the most beneficial to people. I want to offer something that more people would be willing to exchange their money for. So what is that? You too should think about this in your existing niche. What is it that you could sell to your existing list that would create a hunger for them to purchase? What can they not do without? That's how you can make a lot of money in your niche but you need to focus on bigger ticket items so that you put in the same effort but for greater returns.
So basically, that's what I've been thinking about lately. I'm focused on jumpstarting my teleseminars/webinars again and also jumpstarting the sales team process internally. These are the two business models that I'm heavily testing. I've also been doing a ton of split testing on a lot of pages using Hypertracker. If you're not currently split testing your pages you're missing out big time! You're not only losing a ton of money, but you're also missing out on building a solid business that could sustain you very well for years to come. That's the bottom line in any business. You need to test and track as soon as possible. If you currently lack a spit testing tool go to Hypertracker.com and download the software. It's an excellent tool with a wide selection of capabilities to help you test and tweak your sites.
If you can create good sites that are converting very well, you can increase your response rate, increase your audience loyalty, gain credibility and build a solid business that can run itself. Remember, it's all about the numbers. Look at your existing sites to see how you can improve them for greater results!

Make Money With Affiliate Marketing in 3 "NEWBIE PROOF" Steps
Let's face it. Most people who want to make money with affiliate marketing wanna ditch their 9 to 5 and spend more time with their loved ones. And chances are, you're here now because you have dreams of being financially free. It's not so much the economy and lack of jobs that brings future entrepreneurs like you to the forefront. It's the freedom to do whatever you want, and buy what you want without limits.
Below are 3 actions you can make before you make money with affiliate marketing. These steps are proven to work for many newbie's like you. There are many paths you can walk on your journey to earning a full-time income with affiliate marketing. And this is one of them:
1. Get A Domain Name - Your domain name is your virtual real estate. Getting your own domain is the first step I recommend new affiliate marketers do. Free domains, however, are a huge waste of your time because they can be taken away from you for any reason - especially when you start to make decent money from them. You can find a solid domain for less than a few bucks a year.
2. Create A Review Website - Review sites are great for making quick money with affiliate marketing ,because it gives you the opportunity to write honest reviews on affiliate products from your experience or someone else's.
So when you drive traffic to your website, your visitors can read the reviews and make a solid decision based on your HONEST opinions of a program. In other words...
Don't create positive reviews for products you know are crummy. Your reputation is on the line.
You can create these review websites yourself with basic HTML knowledge, or you can outsource the project to someone else to do for you for less than $100.
3. Promote Your Review Website - Getting a domain name and a review site alone isn't enough to make you money, because...
It's the PROMOTION of your review site that makes you money as an affiliate marketer.
Bottom-line, your website has to be exposed to many people each day of the week to bring in daily traffic which can turn to daily income if your review site is any good.
There are a number of methods you can use to drive white hot targeted traffic to your review page to bring in serious cash like forum marketing to setting up your own blog and getting search engine traffic from being positioned on the first page.
but of course... there's more to it than meet's the eye. What you need is a "step-by-step" Plan to milk the cash cow. When you follow this Affiliate Marketing Report, and you'll be well on your way to kicking down the corporate doors and living the life of your dreams. Go to CashKingAffiliates.Com for more info.

Yes, I am! And I bet your probably very near to throwing in the towel and giving up on this whole make money online stuff altogether. I know exactly how you feel It was not long ago that I felt the same way. I was also in some really serious debt. Let me tell you, I have spent thousands on MLMs, get rich schemes, make money with surveys, responded to lots of make money online quick ads, all have been a complete waste of time and money.
Maybe you can relate to this too. I can tell you from experience that 95% of people trying to attempt to make money online fail - your not alone. So, how are you going to make money online? simple... You need to start right at the beginning and that means setting up your first website (you can do it without one but it will be nowhere near as profitable) and join a very good affiliate program that pays you on a monthly basis.
This may seem very simplistic but do not be fooled by the simplicity. Once you know how to set this up correctly and learn how to drive targeted people to your offer you will be shocked how the money flows in effortlessly. The best thing is once you set this up it will just run on autopilot, leaving you to do whatever you wish. You need to be careful because if you set this up the wrong way or you miss a step it may not work and you will end up joining the people in the 95% bracket again as I explained earlier.
Can this work for you? perhaps not, maybe your still looking for that magic bullet. If on the other hand you would like to download a free step by step guide and know how to set up your first website and finally learn how to make money online visit http://www.createwebsiteincome.com

How to Make Money on Facebook - An Easy Way to Make Money From Social Networking Sites
Is Facebook making money and can YOU make money on Facebook?
The answer is yes to both.
As you probably know, Facebook is a social networking tool used by many people; be it students in college, office workers or teenagers - basically anyone who likes to contact and make friends via the Internet.
As a business Facebook is actually making a surprising amount of money - it has started making a profit ahead of time. It is now cashflow positive according to the latest company announcement. But it is a private company so obviously if you don't work for the company or if you are not an investor it is difficult to know exact figures. But investors have valued the company anything up to 10 billion dollars or more. Apparently they are making 500 million dollars in revenue this year and this revenue is mainly through advertising. It has reported it has 300 million active monthly users.
So Facebook is making money, but how do you make money on Facebook?
One way, is you advertise on Facebook and promote your affiliate offers or your company's website. And the benefits of sites such as Facebook and MySpace and other social networks is you can target to a very specific demographic even to a city level to an age level, which can then massively increase your return on investment because there is a lot less wasted advertising.
That said, some companies actually set up certain Facebook groups - some of these Facebook company groups or products become very popular and a lot of people subscribe to the group and like to hear updates about products, offers or general news, whatever it may be. This clearly helps Facebook in increasing its advertising revenues as branded Facebook groups help advertisers find consumers for their products and service. A lot of large brands have their own 'official' Facebook groups such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft Office Users Group, Google.com even Formula One Teams have a page such as the Vodafone, Mclaren Mercedes Official page.
So then you have a kind of fan club in a way who are a lot more likely to rush out and buy the latest product or your latest offer. But like all these things when it comes to social marketing be careful about not being 'spammy' - be involved with the conversation, say useful things and also in return for that occasionally be a little promotional.
And with a lot of this when you are doing Facebook marketing, Twitter marketing even MySpace marketing this can be very time consuming. But it depends of course on your business, whether you are happy to do it all yourself, or you could hire someone freelance through maybe a service like oDesk.com to manage that for you.
If you are running a business you may not necessarily want to be sitting at a computer all day typing 140 characters into Twitter because that may not be hugely profitable and could suck a huge amount of your time. But maybe hiring someone for 5-10 dollars an hour (depending where they are in the world or the rate they agree upon) that could work quite well and could end being quite a return on investment - so it is something to think about if you are considering the potential of making money on Facebook, Twitter or MySpace.

After 10 days you should have around 800 or more people in your friends list. You can still follow the rest of these steps without having 800 people. You will see why it makes sense to have as many people as possible later in this article.
4. Go to Twollo.com and sign up for an account. This will autofollow up to 200 people for you for any keyword. Put in your keyword (i.e. sports). You may use two keywords for the free version of this program.
Setup a Google Gmail Account
1. Create a Google Gmail account and use a similar username that you used for your twitter account. Use the same username if you can. Use the same password for both because it is easier to remember.
2. Once you have created an account go to settings or more ->more. You should be able to find Google Alerts. If you can not find it, just type Google Alerts into the Google search bar. Create an alert for 5 keywords dealing with sports. So maybe you'll use football, baseball, hockey, basketball, and soccer. You want those alerts to be set as comprehensive, feeds, as-it-happens.
Setup up your content
1. Sign up for Twitterfeed and add your twitter account.
2. Use Twitterfeed to post content relevant to your keyword directly to your Twitter account so you don't have to.
3. Create your feeds. Use the Google alert feeds and auto post every hour 1-2 posts.
Make money using your account
1. Go to RevTwt and sign up for an account. It's also free.
2. Setup an automated post to your account. You will be able to make money using this cost per click program. It is very similar to Google Adsense because they pay you to advertise on your site or in this case your Twitter account.
That is all you need to do in a nutshell to start making money using Twitter. The more followers you get the more money you could potentially make. So making multiple twitter accounts or following a lot of people is the best way to show the advertising to a large amount of people.

1. Use an account name relevant to your interest. So if I like sports I might pick the username sportsfan1981
2. Write a bio that says something about why you like sports and which ones you like to watch on TV or play.

YouTube As a Business Channel
Everyone knows that Google is the number one search engine but what about YouTube? YouTube has long been a go-to destination for a dose of distraction, but did you know that YouTube has become a reputable source for business information? According to a BtoB Magazine article, Google Unveils Research on Executive Internet Use, YouTube receives 1.5 million business searches per day. In a week's time, over 10 million business searches are conducted on YouTube. The more you think about it, these numbers are staggering! In addition to the sheer number of YouTube business searches, research reported in the article shows that one in five executives prefer watching videos to reading text.
What are executives searching for on YouTube and does YouTube deliver? Interestingly, YouTube does not have specific business categories. Instead of browsing categories for business topics, business professionals must enter their search terms in the YouTube search box. While specific categories would be nice, the search results allow users to find exactly what they are looking for.
A quick search for "leadership" on YouTube delivered an impressive list of videos featuring the likes of Colin Powell, Jack Welch, Desmond Tutu, and Colleen Barratt as well as a variety of leadership and motivational pieces by lesser known leaders and leadership scenes from movies such as Remember the Titans. A YouTube search for "sales tips" also impressed with dozens of results covering: customer service, closing mistakes, building rapport, maintaining a positive attitude, open and closed questions, door-to-door sales tips, and more.
Searching YouTube for the term "communications" yielded similar results with videos covering: effective communications, therapeutic communications, crisis communications, active listening skills, and non-verbal communications. Like Google, the better your search terms, the better your results. Using the phrase "communications skills" reduced the number of videos addressing communications technologies whereas entering "unified communications" filtered the list of videos to those that address Cisco and Microsoft unified communications technologies.
With over a million business searches taking place on YouTube each day and plenty of videos appearing in the search results page, YouTube has become a viable business channel - even if business videos are not its mainstay. Are you using this channel? Some executives have shied away from YouTube due to its "anything goes" atmosphere and a fear of brand deterioration should their videos be seen beside less-than-tasteful videos. But let's not underestimate the intelligence of your potential viewers. Besides, most of your viewers are going to find you via the YouTube search function, not by browsing the Most Popular Videos section.
Now is the perfect time to get your feet wet. Start by actively searching for business videos that interest you. For example, if you're preparing for speech, watch a few videos about speech writing. If you need help applying for a grant, watch videos about applying for grants or financing a business. By becoming an active YouTube user, you will start the creative process that will later have you thinking how you can be a content provider on the other side of the lens.
Once you're familiar with the possibilities, it's time to incorporate YouTube into your own marketing plan. Start by considering your products and services. What do you have to offer? Just as you post useful "how to" articles and tips on your Web page, consider giving away free information on YouTube by posting a useful video. For example, if your company sells toner cartridges and services copy machines, consider posting a video on YouTube covering how to clear a paper jam or how to change a toner cartridge. Not only will you be able to use these videos on your existing Web site, you will also expose your company to YouTube viewers searching for this information.
With one in five executives preferring videos to text and 1.5 million business searches each day, you can reach a broader audience by using YouTube as a business channel.
